This week during numeracy, we have been sorting sweets and trying out different ways of representing our data. We made tally charts and pictograms!

Continuing our work on materials, we investigated which materials would work best to wrap a present. The children had a great time selecting and wrapping presents.

Pirates ahoy!

We have been learning about pattern and rhyme during Literacy. We looked at a song about a pirate ship, then became pirates ourselves to make up our own song!

Traffic counting...

We have kicked off our work on the local environment with an exciting traffic count. The children had a wonderful time counting what sort of things we see going past the school!
