Literacy
This week in Literacy, we have been looking at the story 'Can't you sleep, Little bear?' We discussed what it was like for Little bear to be afraid and how Big bear found different ways to help him!
Humanities
This week in Humanities, we have been learning about different places around the school. So we had a treasure hunt following different clues to different places around the school.
Numeracy
This week in Numeracy we have been exploring new vocabulary such as 'more', 'less', 'bigger' & 'smaller.

Party clothes for Friday
Dear Parents,
If your child would like to wear some party clothes for the party in the afternoon, they may bring the clothes in their bags to wear after lunch. They must still come to school in their school uniform.

End of Year party this Friday
Dear Parents,
As it is the end of the academic year, we would like the children to have a farewell party. This will take place after lunch on Friday. A few parents have kindly offered assistance with snacks and food. If parents could bring some snacks, enough to share with the class, then that would be most helpful.

Swimming Gala, this Wednesday
Dear Parents,
This wednesday we will be having our swimming gala, which is the final sports event of the year. The children will need to go to the sports recreation centre near school, but already dressed in swimming kit, with uniform on top.
As with the recent sickness in the class, please could you let me know if you do not wish for your child to participate. This way, the teachers who are organising the event will be able to make the necessary changes. If you could let me know by tomorrow (Tuesday) that would be great.

end of term preparations
Dear Parents,
