Numeracy

Last week, we spent a lesson looking at place value, and in particular, the tens and the units. Our activity involved making tens using the tens sticks and units from the cubes.

Sports day 2013

Last Saturday, we also had our annual Sports day. There was a good turn out for the day and thank you to all the parents for your kind words about the day (and my poor MC skills!)

Numeracy

Last week, we were learning about 3D shapes and how they are different to 2D shapes. Here the children are making their own 3D shapes.

Dance Lessons

Just to remind parents that this half of term will be dance and not swimming.

So please make sure your child has their PE kit and not their swimming kit on Friday.

Many thanks

KS1 Show

Dear Parents,

We are glad to hear that so many parents enjoyed our KS1 show 'Children of the world'. The children and staff have worked very hard to put on an exciting and memorable show for everyone to enjoy.

Please could we ask any parents to kindly forward any copies of photos or videos from the performance, so we may update our blogs and and share them with all the KS1 parents. We would greatly appreciate your contributions and so would the rest of the KS1 community.

Please e mail them to ks1@ascot.ac.th
