reminder about sun hats

Dear Parents,

With the hot season fully underway I would like to remind all parents about the need for the children to have sun hats. We are continuing to encourage the children to always wear their sun hats for protection against the sun, but I feel that it is more important now than ever.

Please could you ensure that your child brings a sun hat to school everyday. If you are unable to get an Ascot hat then the children may wear a hat from home until they are available from the school uniform shop.

Many thanks for your support on this important manner,

Karel Linden

Last day of term

Dear KS1 Parents,

Thank you for your support this term, it has been greatly appreciated and I hope you are all looking forward to a nice relaxing holiday. Just a few reminders regarding tomorrow -

  1. Ascot Idol - will begin at 10.00 - parents of children participating in the competition may come at 9.40 to get the children ready.
  2. Class parties - party clothes to be brought to school in bags and the children will change after lunch.
  3. Ascot House point competition - The Aztecs have won the most house points so any Aztec student may come to school in their home clothes as the prize. They can wear their home clothes all day!
If there are any questions then please feel free to contact your child's class teacher.

Have a great holiday,

Mr K Linden

Safari World Trip

What a fantastic day at Safari World.

First we saw the animals on the safari tour and then we were entertained by the clever sea-lions  show. After a restful lunch we took an exciting boat ride and had just enough time to have a delicious ice-cream before home!

The children had a great time, were very polite and interested in learning about the animals.
