Comprehension Homework

The Year 5 children have been set some extra comprehension homework to complete everyday. Their task is to read the story ' Tongue Tied' by Paul Jennings.

Every evening, the children will be expected to read a double page then they should answer the questions underneath.

The children are also encouraged to read the answers that have been written by their class mates. If they think that the answer can be improved, or if they think that the answer is effective, then they can comment. This constant peer assessment will help the children to develop their comprehension skills through learning from each other. Mr Ellis and myself will also be making comments to encourage the children to answer the questions as thoroughly and accurately as possible.

The children can find the link to the story in their Gmail or by searching for 'Tongue Tied' in their Google Drive.
