This week, we will create our own story featuring issues relevant to us as a class and work on changing our own selected Paul Jennings story.

Next week, we will write our own versions of our elected Paul Jennings stories and edit them as well as read them to the class.

Math

Multiply and divide numbers by 10 and 100 including decimals (tenths and hundredths); read and write decimals (to 1 and 2 places), understanding that these represent parts (tenths and hundredths) of numbers; mark 1- and 2- place decimals on a line; count in tenths (0.1s) and hundredths (0.01s); multiply numbers with up to 2 decimal places by 10 and 100, and divide numbers by 10 and 100; say the number one tenth and one hundredth more or less than a given number; round decimal numbers to the nearest whole number

Theme

For Theme we will case study different businesses and take notes on how they are different.

Next week, we will sort out the information we have gathered and decide upon a course of action in terms of what businesses we would like to set up.

Science
|
This week we look at our Theme topic and see how Science can be used to investigate further.

Next week, we will look at the different links between Businesses as our theme topic and Science investigation

Art
|
This week we finish our Art logos and make a display of hidden meanings for our businesses.

Next week, we will look at how we will design the stalls to our businesses and how our products will be presented and made top look appealing to customers.

PSHE
|
In PSHE, we will at changing around some of our class jobs and making our classroom cleaner and more effective.

Next week, we will look at the positives that have happened this term as well as trying to think of ways to make next term better.
