Line Graphs

This week, we have been learning to interpret and draw line graphs. A graph shows information that is connected in some way, for example a change over time. In today's Numeracy lesson, each group was given a beaker of hot water. Using a thermometer, we tracked the temperature drop over a half hour period. Then, we represented the data in the form of a line graph. All groups were very sensible around the hot water and worked well as a team to calculate time intervals accurately.

After some careful measuring and plotting, we were able to see that the temperature of the hot water decreased over time.
