Our Numeracy lessons on data handling continue! Today, we learnt about pie charts and the children created their own charts based upon a research topic of their choice. After gathering the data that they needed, they then went into the ICT suite to input this into a program which helped us to generate a chart.

Once the children had completed their pie charts and saved their images, we returned to the classroom and that each pupil took it in turns to question their peers on the data that they had collated. They asked questions such as 'Which sweet was the most popular?' and 'How many children chose Liverpool FC as their favourite football team?'.
Great job everyone, I was super impressed by the hard work that went into your pie charts.
